A Christmas Visit to my Agency

I went to visit Marilyns ( my agency) a week before Christmas. First my mom and I went to Moes and had lunch then we went to Gigis Cupcakes and bought a Jingle Box of mini cupcakes. Then we went to visit.

 It was a good visit. I talked to Anne- Marie and Drew about auditioning and acting classes and opportunities that might come up for me in 2014.  Drew is my agent for the kids division. Print and film. Anne - Marie is over film. She use to be a Miss Sprint Nascar girl. She is so pretty.

Then I met Micahel who will help me when I get tall enough to model out of kids. He want me to grow to 5'8" then come visit him. I only need 3 more inches! 

I love Marilyns talent agency. They are all so sweet and fun to be around. I always want to stay longer whenever I am there. They were pretty excited about the cupcakes too. :) 

My first Pay check and Hamricks ads!

I got my first paycheck this fall. I love modeling!

My First Job!

in hair and make up

So I can now say that I am actually a model because I had my first modeling job today! I modeled for this clothing  store called Hamricks. They have stores is in NC, SC, VA, TN and Ga.
My mom only heard that they wanted me for the job 2 days ago so I really didnt have time to be nervous.
I had to be there at 8:30 and bring jeans, tennis shoes and flats and wear my hair down. That was the instructions.

We left our house this morning at 7:30 and made it there in plenty of time. Everyone I met was really nice. There was another boy about my age, a little boy around 5, two teenage girls, a college guy and grown up guy and me. There might have been more models coming in later because I was only there for one hour.


I went and had my hair and make up done and then my first outfit was pajamas. They braided my hair and made me yawn for the camera. and stretch. It was kinda funny.

Then I had a  yellow and green sweater and jeans. and last a dress and necklace.

I had SO much fun and I  reeeeaaaalllly hope I get another job again soon!

Here are some sneaky peeks of my photo shoot with Joe. I am not sure yet which pictures are actually going in my portfolio but I am excited to see them all edited. 

I like the blue sweater and the pink hat outfits the best. 

I might have a job lined up for next month! Yay! My mom is still waiting to see for sure but its looking good. :) I will keep you posted. 

Acting Class

I was able to have an acting class with an actor/ acting coach named Dane Northcutt  on Tuesday night. He taught me how to do a slate. A slate is when you go to an audition and tell a little about yourself. He helped me work on where to stand, look into the camera, how to speak up, and be confident and SMILE! 

It was a lot of fun and I hope I get to work with him again soon.

So on one of the casting sites there was a question... What famous person do you think you resemble? That's a hard question! My mom and I think Gwyneth Paltrow is the closest. What do y'all think?

Photo shoot

I had a photo shoot with a great photographer named Joe last month. It was for the portfolio that my agent Brandin will show people that might want me to model for them. 

We wanted something outside and open, so we ended up doing the photo shoot at my house. That was kinda cool because I was really comfortable here and I could just run inside to my room to change outfits. He took some great photos and it was fun....but kinda hot and sweaty too!  I cant wait to see how they all turned out and I cant wait to have more photo shoots.
